about
I'm a Lead UX Researcher with 15 years of experience running mixed-methods research inside large enterprises and universities, most recently at Cisco Systems. I've led research that shifted executive strategy from incremental fixes to full product redesigns, built research operations from scratch for teams that had never worked with a researcher before, and scaled research repositories and intake processes that outlasted my own involvement on a project. I previously taught Computer Science and User-Centered Design as a professor and did my PhD in Human-Computer Interaction at Northwestern, with a master's from Cornell along the way.
I'm currently looking for my next role. I'm drawn to work where research has a direct line to decisions that matter, and to teams that treat research as a partner in the work rather than a service that gets called in at the end.
