about
I'm a Senior User Experience Researcher with CODE PA, Pennsylvania's State digital services team.
I have 5+ years of industry UX research built on a decade of academic human-computer interaction research and teaching. I've led research that shifted executive strategy from incremental fixes to full product redesigns, built research practices from scratch for teams that had never worked with a researcher before, and scaled research repositories and intake processes that outlasted my own involvement on a project. I'm not afraid to get my hands dirty with design and light development work, I love working directly in Figma and using AI to build prototypes.
My work today builds on my previous academic life. I previously taught Computer Science and User-Centered Design as a professor. I earned my doctorate in Technology & Social Behavior from Northwestern, master's in Information Science from Cornell, and bachelor's in Computer Science from Ithaca College.
